In Norway we have lessons in Food and Health in the 5th and 9th grade.
At Sandbekken the 9th graders have two hours of this subject every week.
Normally every second week we make nutritionally healthy meals, often with two courses.
This photo shows some students from 9C who recently made ham and cheeses pasta gratin, served with salad.
Pupils who have dietary issues such as needing a gluten-free or lactose-free diet are naturally catered for. Luckily we have a good selection of products which cater for their needs.
