Norway: pupils' presentations on healthy eating
Our 9th grade pupils have learned this autumn and winter a lot about healthy eating and nutrition, and after learning about protein, fat, carbohydrates and energy they worked in pairs to find out about a particular vitamin or mineral. The powerpoint presentation they made was to show good sources and functions of the nutrient, and they should include a recipe which demonstrates a good source of the vitamin /mineral.
They presented their work in front of the whole class.
Here is a small selection of their work.

Norway: Christmas cards from Finland
Look what our pupils received from the pupils in Finland!
Just the day before we finished for school before Christmas the postman brought a big fat envelope filled with beautiful cards that the school in Finland had made for us! The class having French with me were the lucky ones to open them. They were beautiful!
The Finnish pupils had written Christmas greetings in Norwegian and decorated the cards beautifully!
We were SO impressed.
Here you can see the pupils at Sandbekken in Norway holding the cards from Finland.
Thank you so much!
